WONDER WHEEL

love’s been on my mind of late

and if and when it falls away

we ride out in a subway car

heading for the coney shore

for more

it’s about loving your face

it’s about finding our place

on top of the wonder wheel

oh listen to those little girls squeal

on top of the wonder wheel

days grow short and nights grow lean

and if we ever lose the dream

we’ll make our way along the pier

trust the ocean keep it near

no fear

it’s about loving your face

it’s about finding our place

on top of the wonder wheel

oh listen to those little girls squeal

on top of the wonder wheel

life goes sailing through the strait

and if we ever fade to gray

find ourselves in a world of light

incandescent in the night

dark night

it’s about loving your face

it’s about finding our place

on top of the wonder wheel

oh listen to those little girls squeal

on top of the wonder wheel

dreamland takes us round and round

dreaming high above the crowd

it’s about loving your face

it’s about finding our place

on top of the wonder wheel

there’s room up there for everything real

on top of the wonder wheel

I like very much this song. It seems to me I was near once! Even if I wasn't high with the girls that squeal! Some verses I will note and repeat like a prayer for me:
days grow short and nights grow lean
and if we ever lose the dream
we’ll make our way along the pier
trust the ocean keep it near
no fear
Bravo!

My Dear Bell

You are always with me, with us. Life is a Wonder Wheel indeed, we always rise to the top. Never stop dreaming. Trust our friendship, keep it near.
